Saturday, Sep. 15, 2018 Amazing Race, Havdallah, and Tashlich

4:00 PM - Amazing Race - Our yearly scavenger hunt around town.

6:00 PM - Everyone gathers at John S. Taylor Park, Shelter #1, for a picnic dinner. Bring your beach chairs and snacks.

7:00 PM - Havdalah & Tashlich Service at the park.

Sunday, Sep. 16, 2018 Tampa Bay Jewish Community Reverse Tashlich

On Rosh Hashanah, it is cusomary to go to a body of water and symbolically cast our sins into the water during the Tashlich Service. This year, we will reverse the process and, as a united community, remove our sins from the water and clean up our waterfronts. This event is part of Tikkun HaYam, the world's only Jewish marine conservation organization.

Wednesday, Sep. 19, 2018 Break The Fast

Join us after a long day of worship and fasting for a fresh bagel and schmear! We will be serving kugel, herring, bagels, and more! Suggested donation of $5 per person. Please RSVP to the Temple Office by Sept. 14th.

Sunday, Sep. 23, 2018 - 9:30 AM WTBI “No Bake” Dessert Competition

If you can’t stand the heat, don’t stay out of the kitchen! Just don’t turn on your oven and join us for a No Bake Dessert Competition on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 9:30 AM. This Competition is part of the other events including a New Member Brunch served by our Temple Brotherhood and Religious School Parent Participation Day.

We will schmooze, get to know each other better and find out who makes the “best” no bake dessert this year. Everyone is welcome to compete, just contact Sandi Sunter, WTBI President so every baker will be represented.

4:30 PM - Religious School Family Program
Unfurling of the entire Torah followed by Pizza & Salad in the Hut. For Religious School families only, please.

6:00 PM - Erev Simchat Torah Service - Kabbalat Ha'Siddur - Consecration
We will celebrate the students who are embarking on their religious school education as well as our 3rd and 4th graders who are receiving their own prayer books.

Join us for an inspiring evening as Shannon Watts discusses how one person can make a difference in the lives of those around them and can use their passion for social justice to enact change in their communities.

Ticket prices for general admission are $30 through September 1st. After 9/1/2018 prices increase to $40.
